Ndamukong Suh is still considered the top prospect by many NFL watchers even though odds are that Ndamukong Suh will not go first at the draft.
The number one pick goes to the St Louis Rams and most of the buzz is that they need to get a quarterback prospect in the system. Suh would make a good choice and remains a possibility. The Rams have picked DT with their first round pick in two of the last three drafts, but neither of them seem to be working out.
The Detroit Lions pick second and again Suh would be an okay fit with this team. The consensus is that the Lions will pick someone to protect their young quarterback. The Lions also added DT Corey Williams and it’s doubtful that they’d do that if they planned on grabbing Suh.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are going to draft a DT. But will it be Suh? There are some rumors going around that the Buccaneers favor Gerald McCoy. If that’s the case he could drop further.
The Washington Redskins don’t really need Suh. They’ll draft a QB or OT.
The Kansas City Chiefs don’t really need Suh either, but if he falls this far they will likely trade down to someone who wants to take Suh. Seattle, Cincinnatti, New England, Baltimore and New Orleans would all make some sense.
I could see Redskins GM Bruce Allen making up a fake competition for Suh just to trade down one spot to add a late round pick from Seattle.
In the unlikely event that Suh falls all of the way to Seattle, they will take him at number six.
