After having the final decision of the famous quarterback, Brett Favre, the Minnesota Vikings are planning to have Javon Walker as their wide receiver. This move will reunite Favre and Walker after long been separated since their Packers’ time.
The plan has been due to the uncertainties caused by injuries of some of the Vikings’ players. Walker is planned to replace Percy Harvin or Sidney Rice. Harvin is reported to be struggling with his migraines while Rice is uncertain to return to play this season. The Vikings are in definite need of an excellent wide receiver.
Harvin was unable to participate in the Vikings preseason game with the Niners in San Francisco last Sunday after being hospitalized last week due to collapsing due to migraine during their practice in the Vikings quarters. However, he is expected to return to the field and practice this Tuesday. On the other hand, Rice is still uncertain to return to the active roster after having been injured and included in the unable to perform list. He hasn’t practiced up until now.
After losing the game with the Niners, the Minnesota Vikings are off to seek more and more possible options on making the team perform well and be able to cover all the spreads and totals set on them.
