Although both teams have a similar slate, the Jets are the slight favorite to win their game after they were able to beat the Patriots in their first meeting 28-14 at the Meadowlands.
With their initial victory over the Patriots, Jets coach Rex Ryan is confident they can again beat the Patriots in their second meeting on Monday evening.
Ryan said if they can execute their game-plan in their first meeting well, then there is no reason they will lose against the Patriots.
The Jets coach said he carefully studied the way Patriots play this year and he is confident he knew the secret on how to beat the Patriots this year.
Entering into the game, the Jets have won eight in a row on the road, which is why they are confident of winning against the Patriots.
He said the Jets have a complete roster this year that can carry them all to the way to the NFL playoffs and even to the Super Bowl crown in the 2010 NFL season.
Despite being the underdog in their game, the home-team Patriots are still very much confident of their chances against the Jets in the current NFL season.
Patriots coach Bill Belichick said he is confident his team can bounce back against the Jets if they will continue to play their A-game come game-time.
Belichick said Patriots superstar quarterback Tom Brady also needs to produce big numbers to carry his team to victory against the tough Jets.
The Patriots are coming off a convincing 45-24 victory at Detroit, and have won 25 straight at home with Tom Brady as the starting quarterback.
He said Brady is the catalyst for his team and he is confident Brady will once again step up big in one of the biggest game of their team this year.
The Patriots coach said his team is fully determined to win their game and take the leadership in the ongoing NFL season.
With so much at stake in their game, the Patriots, Jets game promises to be a slam-bang affair to all professional football fans all over the globe.
