THE STRUGGLING Dallas Cowboys has been picked to win over the Philadelphia Eagles in their Sunday night game in the ongoing National Football League season.
The Cowboys is favored to win over the Eagles despite their inferior 4-8 record compared to the 8-4 record of the Cowboys since they have beaten the latter in their past three games last year.
The Dallas Cowboys who are hosting their game is also on a winning roll at the moment as they have won three of their past four games through the guidance of new head coach Jason Garrett.
Under the leadership of Garrett the winning attitude of the Cowboys had been reestablished as the team now has more focus and passion in winning their games.
With a renewed commitment of winning the Cowboys is poised to defeat the tough Eagles.
Despite the failure of the Cowboys to live up to its billing as contender for the NFL crown this year, the Cowboys hopes to end their year with a winning season.
To defeat the Philadelphia Eagles, Cowboys star quarterback Jon Kitna must take the lead chores in scoring and passing for his team.
The Dallas Cowboys must also do its best to play tough defense to stop the Eagles from scoring big in their game.
The Philadelphia Eagles for its part can avoid defeat if superstar quarterback Michael Vick can once again produce huge numbers for his team.
Vick had been a revelation for his team this year as he carry his team to a lofty NFL record this year.
After heading into this season with a career completion percentage of 53.7, Vick has completed 63.8 percent of his passes in 2010.
His NFC-best 105.7 passer rating is exactly 30 points higher than what he put up in his last full season as a starter in 2006.
If Vick and his teammates can score big and escape the defense of the Cowboys there is no reason they will not win against the Cowboys.
With so much at stake in their game, the Cowboys-Eagles game is expected to be a slam-bang affair between two NFL teams who are very determined to get another victory in the current NFL season.
